Layali Oriental Dance Academy and Farhang proudly present two workshops with internationally renowned dancer Schachlo.Schachlo is originally from Uzbekistan, where she finished her five-year graduate as a dancer and choreographer at the State Academy of Choreography in Tashkent. For 11 years she was a member of one of Uzbekistan’s largest dance ensembles that toured worldwide, and over the last five years she was the group’s solo dancer.
At an early stage she charmed her audience with her grace and her unique way of expressing emotions and portrait the dance.Schachlo (which means “beautiful eyes”) now lives in Bremen, Germany, where she performs and teaches classical and modern dances from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan among others. She also includes Oriental dance, Bollywood and Russian gypsy dance in her repertoire.Layali Oriental Dance Academy and Farhang is very proud to present Schachlo for the first time in Sweden.
She will teach two workshops:
– Dance from Persia
– Dance from Uzbekistan (Ferghana style)
